Our students offered Bhajan Sandhya at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Krishna at Guruvayur Temple on the first day of Edavam (May 15), during the month of Vaishakha which is considered to be a special divine season of devotion.
Anagha C. of class VII delivered the welcome speech. A meditation session was also held after the bhajan session in order to generate a feeling of love and compassion. Storytelling is a very powerful way to put ideas across to the public. Niranjana of class VI expressed her ideas through a story called “Hridayapushpam“.
As part of “My promise to the environment” project, Sarath N.S. of class VIII donated a sapling and Chandana of class X offered a cloth bag to the representative of the Temple Authority.
Devapriya Anilkumar of class IV extended the vote of thanks with her sweet words. We concluded our programme with Shanti mantra.
