Birthdays give us opportunities for meaningful celebrations. During the morning assembly, the birthday boys and girls are invited for special birthday greetings. Planting a tree is a fantastic way to commemorate a birthday. We encourage our students to change the way they celebrate their birthdays and plant saplings instead to make them aware of their environment. As an honour, students also donate a book to the library on his or her special day. By planting a medicinal plant or a fruit tree in the yard, or donating pens, homemade sweets, paper bags, paper pens etc. in the presence of their class teacher and friends, they feel happy and worthwhile.
