The environment ensures the continuation of life by maintaining genetic variation and biodiversity. World Environment Day was celebrated on June 5th, 2024 to remind everyone about the need of the hour, and the protection of the environment. The function was inaugurated by the Chief Guest of the day, Mr. Mony V.K., Agriculture Field Officer, Kodungallur. He spoke about the need to preserve nature, and the ways through which this can be achieved. The felicitation speech was delivered by Ms Rohini Jayaram, Academic Advisor. The students planted saplings and the kids of the KG block did vegetable carving and craft work out of coconut leaves The students interviewed the chief guest and got answers to most of their queries.
