To commemorate Pest Day, on June 6th, our school organized a field trip to a field near our school. Smt. Sujatha C.K., a farmer well-versed in natural remedies for minor ailments, talked about her experience. The main objectives were to learn about pest management strategies and observe real-world applications of these strategies. The students also interviewed Mr. Moni V.K., Agricultural Field Officer, about the challenges and advancements in pest control.
The field trip provided invaluable insights into the complexities of pest management. This experience has underscored the significance of sustainable practices in ensuring food security and protecting our environment.
