Bhajan Sandhya at Koodalmanikyam Temple, Irinjalakkuda

Koodalmanikyam Temple is a temple dedicated to the worship of Bharata. The temple is one of four temples in Kerala that forms a set called “Nalambalam“. Each temple is dedicated to one of the four brothers in Ramayana: Rama, Bharata, Lakshmana and Shatrughna.

The temple holds its annual festival for ten days every year in the month of Medam (April/May). Cultural fests by renowned artists are conducted during the ten day celebrations. Our students got the wonderful opportunity to sing bhajans during the main fest.

Our students presented Veda mantras, bhajans and the Mahishasura Mardini Stothram. Some of our former students also joined the group in performing before Sree Sangameswara or Koodalmanikyam swami. The entire audience applauded, encouraging them and praising their talents. It was indeed a wonderful experience for all of us.
