Our school is collaborating with Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala in an impressive green project called the Medicinal Plant Garden Project, for planting medicinal herbs in our school garden.
The event was inaugurated by our Honourable Municipal Chairman Sri Vipin Chandran Sir on October 27, 2016, and Programme Coordinator, Sri Mukundan P. gave details of the grand plan. Later, students of classes VIII through X attended a class conducted by Sri T.S. Gokuldas, Public Relation Officer of Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala, on the importance of medicinal herbs and how each and every part of an herb cures different diseases. A video featuring the Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala Museum was also shown to the students. On the whole, the event was a great success and marked a new beginning.
