On June 8, 2016 our young KG students were welcomed ceremoniously to our Amrita Vidyalayam. School council members acting as caring brothers and sisters carried them to the lap of five senior teachers who were waiting in a gorgeously arranged hall. The teachers initiated the little ones in the presence of our Principal Brni Gurupriyamrita Chaitanya. The Principal distributed sweets to all the newcomers. After partaking the prasadam, all the children accompanied by their parents were welcomed to their classrooms where an informative session was held by the respective class teachers. Students of class X presented the new students with gifts and saplings which made everyone very happy.
