On July 13, Amrita Vidyalayam Kodungallur whole-heartedly celebrated Gurupoornima, the birthday of sage Veda Vyasa, putting forth all effortsto spread the message of worshiping the sacred feet of the Guru, the dispeller of ignorance from our minds.
On the same day, we also organised a Mathrupuja for students of classes V, X and XII. The guest of honour, Br. Anaghamrita Chaitanya guided the puja, giving instructions to perform the worship of their mothers’ feet. He also gave a talk that made everyone aware of the significant role that a mother plays in one’s life. The eyes of all the mothers who attended the pooja filled with tears of love and joy.
